Immunity Challenge #2
Hello everyone and welcome to today's challenge. It is called "Quick Crafts" and it will test your ingenuity and ability to think outside the box to be creative. That's because this is your creative challenge.
Today you both tribes will be creating tribe flags. You will be judged on the following criteria:
Completion (out of 6) You must include the following: - Tribe Name - Tribe Colour - Photos of all tribe members - Names of all tribe members - Slogan representing your tribe - Season logo
Creativity (out of 10) This will be a subjective score by a panel of non-biased judges. Participation (out of 7) One point for each tribe member that successfully participated (only 8 members competing in this challenge) Simple enough right? I think it's too simple, so of course there's a twist. Each tribe member will participate individually in this challenge.
In a private chat I will send the first tribe member a blank image. They will have 10 minutes to create as much of the tribe flag as possible, and then upload the image. They must upload the image within that 10 minutes. I will then pass what they have done to the next member of their tribe to add to the tribe flag. This will continue until each tribe member has added something to the flag, and after your last tribe member has gone, the flag will be finished and passed off for judging.
You have until 10:00 pm EST on Monday March 9th to complete this challenge. I will be online this evening until midnight, and tomorrow from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. It is up to you to contact me for you 10 minutes.
If you are unable to be on during those times, I can make special arrangements to have you complete it when you are available. I can only do that though if you contact me. If you don't participate before the deadline and have not reached out for me to accommodate you, there's nothing I can do to help you.

This is a tough call. Based on creativity, neither tribe did anything new or original to be honest! So my score comes down to simply the slogan. "Suck it Bitches" is kind of tacky and totally been there done that. Hyaiyu at least tried to come up with something original for the slogan.

Ok so I think both tribes did amazing with their flags. I think the only thing what gave me an edge over the other was the tribe slogan.
Purple tribe I loved your use of colours and the overlapping images of everyone on the flag and the inclusion of the logo. I think the only thing what was a bit odd was the smiley faces in the corners.
Blue tribe it did creep me out a little bit with random heads everywhere on the tribe flag but I loved the faded logo in the background with a wash of your colour over it.
With that onto my scores. It was close but...
I give the blue tribe a 8/10
And the purple tribe a.. 6/10
Blue tribe: I loved your little slogan and how spacious the flag was. It was simple, to the point it had colour and the logo with the name all placed nicely. The floating heads where creepy but affective because it didn't take up so much room on the flag so you could see the logo behind.
Purple tribe whilst I did love yours a lot as well I found it a bit cluttered. I liked the use of colour and the cast icons overlapping but it seemed so squished with the names there and all the images down below. The random smiley faces? No. I think that's unecessary when your slogan is 'suck it bitches' however great job though.
Judge #3 Wow I think both tribes did a great job. You can definitely tell they went with two different approaches. The Blue group has the floating heads which is an interesting choice, but still cool. The purple tribe has the nice images, but the way they're laid out is really strange. Suck it bitches as the tribe slogan is a bit much though. I don't really like that. The blue tribe definitely trumps them on the slogan. I think they're both pretty equal style wise though.
Huaiyu - 9
Wuyi - I'll give them a 7 because I don't like the suck it bitches ___________________________________________________ Total
Huaiyu: 4 + 6 + [(8+7+9)/3] = 18 Wuyi: 6 + 6 + [(6+3+7)/3] = 17.33
Which means the winner of this challenge is...
Congratulations Tribe you have won Immunity! Unfortunately for Tribe, one of you will be the second person voted out of The Survivor Games: Jiangxi.
Tribal Council will be set up in the morning, but the voting deadline is Tuesday March 10th at 11:00pm EST. |
