FINALLY. This is probably the most excited I've been to get confessionals, because I really wanted to write something to pass the time. Anyways, hello VL, I'm Brandon. I know a ton of people who have sucked in this game (Shii Ann, Coach, John K, Alec) and some people who have done well (Bobdawg, Jaclyn, Ashley, Richard). After John and I were viciously and mercilessly slain together, we now share a special bond of being elitist film snobs. So that's enough about me.
The first thing is holy shit, there are some awful reps right now. Wow, 4 people from the new season. Every time a new season drops, everyone clamors to play the new people. We have ORG staples Andrea, Tyson, Malcolm, RC, Todd, and Corinne, how original. Fabio and Chris are winner picks, and there's always a winner, but they aren't as offense or boring as others. Marty, Reynold, Peih-Gee, and Erinn are less common but barely. Props to Sonja for being the only person to get a pre-ASS pick, it's nice to see some older choices.
Beyond that, my tribe is pretty boring so far. I hit it off with Fabio, and we're probably gonna be working together down the road. PG and Corinne are nice so far, and if I have an ideal alliance, they're in it. Todd was boring as sin, Reynold stopped responding, and RC is a little strange. I'm not sure if she's normally kinda awkward or strange, but hopefully she is. It makes it easier to get rid of her. Ideally, we can win the challenge and stay immune, but I have no issues with losing the challenge. Going to tribal council forces people to work together in fear out of getting booted, so if we lose the challenge, I'll approach some people about teaming up and seeing who they want to get rid of. Surviving the first round normally involves 1. Not being awful and 2. Having a pulse, so hopefully I'm not awful enough to get sent home. Who knows, I do get pretty damn bad over the course of a game. It just depends on how strongly I come across right now.

Fabio is interested, and I thiiiiink Corinne is. Corinne brought up the fact R.C. approached her for a deal and asked if it was too early to form alliances, and I said it normally is unless you can't stand most of the other people you're interacting with and it's easier to find the person you like. It felt like she was fishing for me to say no not at all, and make a deal, but I'm waiting. I don't want to initiate anything right now, because we're only hours into the game and I don't wanna play that fast. I wanna talk to people a bit more, and feel them out, and make sure I'm going with the right people. Odds are I've found my group I'm running with, but I wanna try and keep it lowkey for now. Rushing out of the gate can be a death sentence, and I like my head where it is.

Thank you RC, for being a shady player. RC's constant dealing made Corinne paranoid and she was practically begging for a majority alliance, so with a flick of my magic hat, viola! An alliance of PG, Corinne, Fabio, and I now exists. Now, (and I love the irony) I was saying it was too early mere posts ago, but this is good. People are worried now, and I was able to capitalize on that. Also, I was bored, so it gave me something to do, so...Hopefully this group of 4 can grab another person, make it a majority and boom, stick together until a swap forces us apart because John loves his swaps. This totally could bite me in the ass, but I'm impatient and tired of waiting.

After talking to Sierra, RC, and Fabio some more, Fabio dropped that Sierra's favorite people on the tribe are myself, RC, Fabio, and...Reynold? He was online for 5 minutes yesterday and has the personality of a 2-by-4, so they probably know each other outside of the game. I think Sierra is gonna push for an alliance with this group, and I would love that. Being in 2 major alliances that have legitimate numbers is incredible, because it allows for wiggle room. The only issue in playing the middle is you can seriously burn bridges, and some people could piece it together and turn on me. Now, that's fine and dandy, it's one of the risks that goes along with it, but it's a small risk on a huge upside so I'm taking it if it comes my way. Honestly, securing a real alliance with RC could be good. She's a snake, and when dealing with a snake, you can't ignore it. You either have to control it, or kill it, and that's what I plan on doing. Keep RC in my line of sight, make sure she isn't doing anything too dangerous, and as soon as it looks like she's causing problems, vote her out. It only depends on my perception and self-awareness, so hopefully I can end her before she bites me.

Holy fuck only 2 of us got it right. We aren't even 3 days in and we're already a dysfunctional mess. Odds are we're losing, so bye bye Erinn. Also, PG posted late, the wrong number, and the wrong action. She messed up every single possible thing there is to mess up. Corinne was late, while Reynold and Todd didn't post AT ALL, right after Todd said he exited out of every other thing on his computer just to focus. Don't make such a petty lie if you can't stick with it. You look like a shady schmuck when you do stuff like that.
Fabio had this to say in the group chat:

I think I made a mistake leaving Reynold and Todd online all night with PG and Corinne. They had a lot of time to talk, and I don't really like that. I think those two are too boring to make anything happen, but you gotta be careful. After coming home from work and seeing that the power was out, I finally was able to get online to see Reynold, Todd, and Sierra working together like a well-oiled machine in the challenge, They've put way more time and effort into it than anyone else has, which is bad news. They're being valuable members of the tribe, and people prefer to keep around the guys that help in challenges. I'm gonna try and do some work because we might have a shot of winning this, and I don't wanna be the lazy ass who did nothing. Strikes against you are bad news.

The big thing isn't the vote, it's the Temple. The issue is Sierra really, really wants to go to the Temple. Now, she's gone off the rails and I don't want her to go to the Temple. Reynold is preaching about how she's so great, and deserves it, and it's so obvious he's with her. I want Fabio to win it. He's my closest ally in this game, and I don't want the target on me. So, he can have the target on him.
