Final Tribal Council"The whole point of the comic task was to see how diverse the finalists are. We know how they played in this game; we know what they are capable of in THESE roles. I wanted to know what they would be capable of in the OPPOSITE roles. They're telling their OWN stories, subconsciously providing us information. Would they still have been successful or would they have been a flop?
First is RC. She had no problem getting her hands dirty in this game, being shady and doing whatever she could to succeed. She was comfortable being the villain, but she was very rash and manic in the process. I wanted to see how comfortable and successful she'd be if she were a hero who was well composed. I was very impressed by the effort she put into her comic, drawing everything out herself. She was the only one to do so. However, I feel there was too much focus on her villain and that she handled the role given to her horribly. She was meant to be a hero who could do no wrong, but she made herself turn evil and lost the fight in the end. Not only did she lose in her own story, but she changed her role entirely. Fail.
Next is PG. She had no problem getting things done, but she hid in the shadows and never got her own hands dirty. She let others like Reynold and RC do it all for her. She avoided confrontation every way she could, even lying unnecessarily and ignoring people to do so. I wanted to see if she could not only jump into the spot light, but blatantly be the star villain. Get blood on her hands. Avoid nothing. I was impressed by the appearance of her art and the fact she apparently learned new tricks to complete the comic. It's very visually appealing. However, she had no focus or goal as a villain. She just roamed around the island killing random old ladies, little girls and a douche bag. lol She showed she was capable of getting blood on her hands, but without any focus she'd fall flat on her ass the moment the hero arrived. Who btw didn't make an appearance. She had no opposition, which tells me she'd still be afraid of confrontation. Fail.
Last is Fabio. He had no problem being the nice guy everyone loved, but he never had any control in this game and didn't seem to ever want it either. He essentially stood back, let things fall where they did and rely on his strength during challenges. I wanted to see if he could step up, take control of the situation and instead of relying on his own self...rely on others to do his bidding. I wasn't as impressed with his artistic method nearly as much as I was with the others, but I liked his reference to Game of Thrones as well as the comic relief. In his story, he was king and took control. He had people wanting to kill him, he knew who he could count on and in what capacity, he ordered them around and in the end had his enemies slaughtered. His people were not in danger; only King Fabio was. He lead his people well and kept himself safe. This tells me if given the chance to play differently in this game he feels he COULD have been as successful, if not moreso. Win."
