Thank you all for a great Final Tribal Council! I hope you all got the answers you were looking for to determine who you think was the best player and deserving winner of The Survivor Games: Jiangxi! I've pretty much explained in detail, both in my opening statement and in the responses to all of your questions, every aspect of my game and why I think I should come out with the win. But I'll give my final pitch in here. Maybe some of you have made up your minds, maybe some are on the fence! Either way, I'd really appreciate if you take the time and read what I have to say.
I knew coming into this Final Tribal Council that it would be an uphill battle to get the jury votes. I'm a player who was apart of every big move, always was in the loop, knew what was happening, voted in the majority and was responsible for putting you on the jury. One of the other finalists is a player who didn't. Of course, it's tempting to reward the player who isn't responsible for taking you out of the game. I get that! If people are just gonna vote based on who is more likeable and friendly, then I know I won't come out with the victory.
But, if this is a jury who is able to put that aside and vote for who they truly think showed all the attributes of a great Survivor player, I think I am that girl who should be getting your votes! From the beginning of this game, to the end, I worked hard to succeed in every aspect of this game, the way I knew I could play! I never left a stone unturned and explored every avenue, I was a strong performer in challenges, winning two individual immunities. I found a Hidden Immunity idol, I won the final four fire making challenge under immense pressure!
I had a strong social game, going back all the way to Wuyi. I set myself up where I was in two separate four person alliances, Peih-Gee/Brandon/Fabio/Corinne and Peih-Gee/RC/Reynold/Sierra. I was the swing vote there, being stealthy and getting valuable information from both sides which allowed me to gave a great read of the game. I planned to develop a separate one on one deal with Todd, so that I could bring him into which alliance I ultimately decided to go with. Everyone on the Wuyi tribe wanted to work with me!
Then I get to Huaiyu. I'm in a 5-3 minority, I think my game is over. I recognise early that Sonja is an outsider, spend hours talking to her and getting her to trust me. Joe/Chris want me to vote out Sonja with them, but I tell Sonja their plan to secure her on my side and take advantage of that rivalry. With the help of the great bonds I made with Andrea/Marty, as well as RC/Brandon, together we take out Joe and Chris, back to back and suddenly I'm set up at the merge and have a working relationship with members from Wuyi and Huaiyu and I can plan my road ahead.
At the merge, the Wuyi seven had the mindset of sticking together. But I knew that wasn't my path to win this game. At the Final 7, I realised my final three spot was under threat. RC came to me and said that Reynold wants a RC/Reynold/Sierra final three. I didn't hesitate, I acted on it immediately to make sure I was going to make it to the end at all costs. I didn't want to put myself into a position like Fabio did, where he was relying on winning immunity challenges to get to the end. My game had many more layers to that!
I vote Sierra out 4-3 and in one move, I guarantee myself final four and a shot at the tiebreak challenge! I believe to this day that if I hadn't made that move and gone along with the safer route to boot Andrea, I wouldn't be sitting here at the end. But I was willing to take the risk to have a better chance at pleading my case in front of the jury. The alliance of Peih-Gee/RC/Reynold/Todd was the power group and I helped solidify it by giving Todd immunity at the Final 10 round to gain his trust! I think in general I had great social abilities which made me that girl everyone wanted in their alliance.
Okay, time to bring this to a close. I hope that at the end of the day, even though I had a hand in your elimination, you can respect the way I played and award me the win. I know this is gonna be a tough sell and I'm gonna have to scrape every single vote I need to get this win, but I hope I've done enough to convince you I'm the deserving winner of The Survivor Games: Jiangxi! Yeah, maybe you don't have to like me better on a personal level, but I think it's been clear throughout this Final Tribal Council all the angles I worked to make it here and I'm the best player.
