Blindside! That was definitely the biggest move of this game so far. Now, the lines are drawn. Loyalties were tested and while I'm sure I showed certain people I'm on their side, I probably showed others I'm not to be trusted! The vote was 7-2-2. Fabio, Malcolm, RC, Reynold, Sierra, Todd and I voted for Tyson, Andrea/Brandon voted for Malcolm, Marty/Tyson voted for Sierra. RC and I pretty much orchestrated it all, I'd like to take credit for planting the seeds of doubt with RC/Reynold about our alliance with Tyson/Andrea.
I know Reynold in particular was worried that they'd feel at the bottom of that group, and they'd sell the three of us out and get the original Wuyi tribe to turn on us, they'd easily be able to flip at Final 7. Tyson/Andrea just got caught in a few lies, came across shady with the idol clue, which didn't really leave me with much faith of them being truly loyal to me, so I was pretty much done with them. Tyson was a bigger challenge threat, so I definitely think it was the right decision to take him out over Andrea.
The bad news is, I've pretty much broken the trust with Andrea, Brandon and Marty. Andrea would clearly be upset RC/Reynold/I broke the final five deal we had with her and Tyson, Brandon's pissed cause he was the only original Wuyi left out of the loop, but RC became paranoid he was working with Marty, so we left him out of the loop because of idol paranoia. We felt Marty would spill the plan to Tyson, too. Tyson/Marty came up with a plan to switch it from Malcolm, who initially came across as the target, due to him barely being around, to Sierra.
I just had to pretend I was on board for it, but really, that was never going to happen. Sierra's shady, but I don't think she suspects that RC/Reynold/I feel that way about her. She's very against Marty especially, so I'm fine with that taking the target away from me. I don't want her gone for at least a few rounds yet. Fabio is also becoming shady, he ended up telling Tyson he was leaving, which is so stupid. He said it's cause he thought Tyson already knew, but with the possibility of an idol out there, we all needed to be tight lipped!
I think Fabio knows a few of us didn't like he did that, so he's probably feeling a bit uneasy this round. Brandon's been very upset at me and RC in particular, saying he's a free agent and doesn't understand why he wasn't trusted to be filled in on the plan. I think he's going to make a move against us the first chance he gets, so I'm wanting to strike first! An original Wuyi hasn't left since round two, but I certainly wouldn't be shedding any tears if he walks out the door. My initial day one alliance was with Brandon/Fabio, but now I seem closest with RC/Reynold.
Due to winning immunity last round, I was sent to the temple. The good fortune was being able to give immunity to an ally. I decided to take it, giving it to Todd, because RC/Reynold/I had discussed working on getting Todd on our side as our fourth, this was the perfect opportunity to gain his trust. I don't see him lying to me in the near future after I helped him out here. The bad fortune was, he ended up being on the opposite team to me for the dreaded double elimination round! I'm on a team with RC, Brandon, Fabio and Marty. The other team is Todd, Sierra, Reynold, Andrea and Marty.
Both teams are going to tribal to vote out one of their own, each team is competing against each other for individual immunity, in a tough endurance challenge, the highest score overall will go to the temple. I'm going to do my best to win! I want to go to the temple again as well, I don't want that power to get into the wrong hands. I still don't know who has the idol, and that scares me. What I do know, is that the likes of Andrea, Marty and Brandon are going to try very hard to win this immunity and look for the idol, they know they're in trouble.
I think on my team, I should be okay. RC/I are voting together, for sure. I don't trust Marty/Brandon at all, I'm sure they will try and flip Fabio. I do feel that RC would be the target over me though, but I could be wrong. Then there's the idol, which complicates everything even more. Marty/Brandon would for sure play it if they have it this round. RC/I don't even know who to target, we're debating between Marty/Brandon. If one wins immunity, the choice will be easy, and we'll put our votes on the other. Marty might even be interested in voting Brandon, we'll see.
I think Todd/Reynold/Sierra will have a majority on the other team, over Malcolm/Andrea. I know Andrea feels like she's leaving without immunity, which is probably true. Malcolm is really not a threat at all, plus Sierra is clearly wanting to drag him to the end for an easy win. Sierra's brought up voting for Andrea ever since the merge. If Andrea wins immunity, then I'm assuming Malcolm would leave. If not, Andrea/Malcolm might flip Todd on Sierra or even Reynold. But seeing as I gave Todd immunity, I don't think he'd do it without telling me.
When I gave immunity to Todd, I knew I'd have to give an explanation to everyone. To Todd, I said it's because I wanted to show I really want us to work together to end. To RC/Reynold, to secure Todd on our side. To Sierra, to get a fifth vote outside of our alliance with RC/Reynold. To Fabio/Brandon, to give immunity to someone I didn't want to see leave, but didn't mind if he got a bad fortune with it. I think I sold it well and didn't come across as too shady. This is a big round, there's a lot of complications, I'm just hoping it goes my way and I make it through.
