Tribal council last round couldn't have turned out any better! Joe was blindsided 7-2. He and Chris voted Sonja, the rest of us, along with Brandon's double vote, took out Joe. Chris was left out of the loop, so I'm going to have to do some damage control there, but I think if anything he'll understand from my perspective. He was exiled and I barely had time to get to speak with him, I think he'd be more upset with Andrea/Marty, his former tribemates, for lying to him.

I still can't believe that me/RC/Brandon managed to make it through the vote unscathed, not even getting any votes. We were in a 5-3 minority, it seemed on paper that we'd be picked off. But Sonja expressed interest in flipping, at the same time that Joe was coming after Sonja. If anything, we ended up as the swing votes. Sonja seemed like a genuine outsider of her former tribe, whereas Joe seemed to just want to take out Sonja then pick the former Wuyi off.

I think we definitely made the right choice. Now Sonja is completely loyal to me for saving her, I filled her in on everything that went down with Joe/Chris targeting her. RC and I have separate three person deals with Sonja, Andrea and Brandon, so unless they share stories, we should be sitting pretty. This round is a double boot round, so I'm going to push for Chris or Marty to get the boot. I'm not going to be too picky on which one it is, I'd be fine to see either walk out the door.

I'd imagine the Final 12 round will either be a merge, or another swap. Chris probably feels like an outsider after being left out of the Joe blindside, at the same time, I didn't expect Marty to vote with us, until a few hours before the vote. I don't have any sort of deal with him, RC/Brandon really dislike him and I find him to be pretty shady too. He's always trying to ask my feelings on our tribemates, without expressing his own thoughts. I don't like it.

I'm a bit hesitant with Andrea too. I like her a lot, but I get the vibe that she was in a fairly decent position on the former Huaiyu tribe. I'm sure she could be allies with Lindsey/Tyson/Malcolm, I'm not quite as sure she's loyal to me/RC as I am with Sonja. Sonja was sent to the temple, due to being the leader in the last challenge. Reynold would've been sent from Wuyi. She said the prize was an immunity token, both must've chosen to "take", cause Sonja ended up with a penalty.

She said she has to sacrifice the first individual immunity she receives in this game, which could also be an immunity idol. I'm still waiting for their to be a hidden immunity idol or clue in the temple, I'm not sure what was there in the first round, but I know Sierra/Lindsey left empty handed, cause they were forced to sit out of the challenge. I'm hoping someone I'm close to, preferably me or RC, wins this individual immunity, cause they'll get sent to the temple this round.

RC won the immunity in the end, I must've just missed out. That sucks! Having immunity in a double elimination round would be amazing. If anyone else was to win it though, I'm glad it's RC. She gets temple access and I'm sure will confide in me what goes on in there. She's yet to go there, it's probably her turn anyway. RC and I decided together that we're going to go after Chris this round, instead of Marty, who was the alternative target.

Marty has mentioned a few times about wanting to work with the two of us, much like Brandon, Andrea and Sonja already have. Even though we don't particularly like or trust him, if he believes that we're on his side, he's less likely to come gunning for us than someone like Chris would. Chris is knowingly an outsider, we lied to him last round and he'd do anything to make it through this vote, so he can turn on us at his next opportunity.

Conveniently, Chris is targeting Marty. He said he had Brandon on board with him, to both me and RC. RC's unhappy about this cause she believes Chris and thinks Brandon really did tell him to target Marty, I don't really mind cause I'm assuming Brandon's just telling Chris what he wants to hear. But RC is definitely not trusting Brandon at the moment. It's fine to not trust someone, but she flat out told Brandon he didn't like what he did.

That makes me a bit uneasy, I don't want Brandon feeling like there's a fracture in me/him/RC, so I simply told him I didn't care about what happened. I'm okay with Chris targeting Marty anyway, I'm suspicious that there could possibly be an idol out there. Chris did get exiled, I have no knowledge of there being an idol in the temple yet. If we lead Chris to believe we're voting Marty, then either he wouldn't play his idol, or Marty would get idolled out.

Marty is the one I'd next want out after Chris anyway, so I'm definitely going to have to lie to Chris big time and make him believe I'm on his side. I want to avoid him writing my name down on the parchment at all costs. RC and I will just have to convince Andrea/Sonja/Brandon/Marty to vote on our side tonight, for Chris, but it shouldn't be too difficult. I'd be surprised if we're still on these tribes next round, I'm expecting another swap or even a merge. Hopefully this vote goes according to plan and I'll find out after!
