Wanted to get a little bit into episode 3 before I get into the swap. I apologize for the delay.
So we lost the third challenge which was frustrating. What was more frustrating was that everyone bitched and moaned about it. Like we lost get over it and lets get ready for tribal council. For me the vote was in between Malcolm and So. I know Sonja's name got bounced around a bit but I did want to lose her at this point. The pros for voting So were that it seemed that everyone wanted to do that, as well as her seemingly sporadic activity. She would drop off the face of the earth for a day or two only to come back and apologize. The pros for voting Malcolm is that him and I have had very little communication, and he offered both Joe and Sonja an alliance from one of the first times they talked to eachother.
Personally I would have rather Malcolm left because of this and the fact So has a pretty good relationship with Andrea. Unfortunately she didn't really put up a fight and I didn't want to rock the boat at all. One interesting thing to note is that Sonja got paranoid and thought the vote was her. I had to calm her down and re-assure her that I had her back and wanted to work with her. She told me she thinks Lindsey and Joe are together because they both went to the temple. The funny thing is she thought Joe rallied the votes to send Lindsey round 1 when it was really me.
Speaking of Lindsey I have felt a little uneasy about her. We don't really talk much game and maybe I am just being paranoid and giving her more credit than I should but she might be a little more sneaky than I can handle. Myself, Andrea and Marty share a lot among eachother, Andrea and I are convinced that Marty thinks he has us both under his little wing. Lindsey however is pretty quiet. She definitely lost some points for me. Sonja and Joe gained some points. Sonja for her paranoia and trust in me about the vote. She is really relying on me which is good. Joe voted for me and we have decent strategic talks. I brought up possibly switching the vote to Malcolm if So fought hard to stay and he was the one that brought it up in the alliance.
