Well, we lost the challenge, again! It was a creativity challenge, making a tribe flag. We just by less than a point, we would've won if Corinne simply participated, but she somehow wasn't able to. Sierra sat out as well, saying she had to because of the temple, she'd receive a "good fortunate" advantage. My alliance with Fabio/Brandon/Corinne didn't believe her, so we decided to target Sierra and break up the Sierra/Reynold pair.
Corinne was obviously going to be the target from Sierra/Reynold/RC, due to not participating in the challenge. So it was clear there was gonna be a divide in the first vote, with me stuck in the middle. Todd's not really part of either alliance either, as far as I'm aware. Most seem to no talk with him much, so I decided to make a side alliance with him so he'll vote with whichever alliance I ultimately choose. Lol, I'm such a mess. <3
I'm pretty much pissed that my game is screwed already, I don't really think it's from my own doing. I didn't ask to be apart of either alliance, they just approached me! Obviously I can't turn it down. But I can only play both sides for so long, with Sierra/Corinne being the targets, my game was going to get blown up one way or another this round. I almost wish Todd was the target, to keep everyone happy, but he did the best in the challenge.
Corinne started campaigning about how shady Sierra was about the temple, Sierra found out through Reynold, who copy/pasted the conversation right back to Sierra. So that confirms to me that they're both extremely tight. I feel close with RC, I wonder if I can somehow turn her against Sierra/Reynold so that if I flip on that alliance, I'm not breaking my trust with her. Fabio seems keen on targeting her, but I don't want that to happen at all.
Fabio and I considered simply voting out Corinne with the others, to avoid a tie situation, and maintain tribe unity. But we didn't know if Brandon would be for it. I trust Corinne more, but having a 4-4 split at the first tribal would be a disaster. We could very well be down in numbers at the swap, we're going to need to get Huaiyu to flip on each other, without selling each other out because of any petty drama.
I voted Brandon for the Temple Of Fate, I'm thinking he'll be more honest than Sierra was, and share whatever's in there with me/Fabio at least. In the end, Corinne quit, due to real life circumstances. I hope she's okay! For strategic purpose, it probably worked out for the best. I didn't have to pick a side in the end, my game isn't blown up just yet. But still, Wuyi has to start winning, or else we're all doomed either way.
