So I didn't really have time to post this round. I apologize for that. I have a really busy couple of weeks and wanted to be active to secure my spot in the game over confess a lot. But enough excuses.
So the night before challenge 2, Sonja asked me for an official alliance plus suggested we make a group. This is the worse case scenario for me. Marty is already sketched out by my alliance with Joe, and the last thing I want is him to doubt my trust with him. As of now I still intend on working with him, Andrea and Lindsey.
So Joe took over Challenge 2 and I thought he did a really good job. He made all the images and planned it out so that everyone participated. It looked for the challenge but we ran into some issues.
First off, both So and Malcolm were unable to do the challenge. So actually vanished for 3 days before coming back. She claimed it was her internet, but in this day and age I am wondering why she wasn't able to post something acknowledging her absense. I guess that would have put a target on her back. Regardless she's back and I am not sure that is good for my game. I'll explain later.
Also, for the second consecutive challenge Sonja took over and went crazy. She more or less trashed everything that Joe did and tried to take over the challenge. On top of that she more or less trashed everyone for not giving 100% and trying something. I give her credit for trying however everyone agreed with Joe's plans and it was a pretty well set up tribe.
She got pretty upset when everyone just stuck with Joe's plan instead of what was she suggested. She confided in me that she wanted me to go last because I told her I had photoshop and felt fairly confident in my ability to atleast follow Joe's plan. When I got the flag it was pretty bad but I was able to add the rest of the faces, the names and the layers on top to complete the final product.
Our participation was sketchy, but our flag was good enough to make up for the difference and we won our second straight challenge. I honestly thought we were going to lose. I thought our flag was better, but when three members don't participate it took a big quality difference to come back and win the challenge.
I think the other tribe will be easy to beat now. They have to be frusterated that they lost two close challenges. Hopefully we've killed their mojo. However Sonja may have fired them up. No one on the tribe wants Sonja in the game. I feel like I am the only who has a decent relationship with here. I think she will be a good ally, because she seems clueless on how the rest of her tribe feels about her.
This leads me back to So. So was the obvious boot had we lost. She was gone for 3 days and no one had spoke a word to her. If not her, it would be Malcolm, who has made limited contact with anyone on AIM. Her return puts Sonja closer to the boot and would cost me an ally. While I have no issues with So, she is closer to a lot of people than she is with me, which is obviously bad.
On the So note, she was gone long enough to have Marty replace her in the alliance with Joe/Chris. I was pleased with this becasue I feel like he is more okay with the arrangement now that he has a stake in it. I am not sure what Chris is going to say now that So is back, because he was the one that choose her. Should be interesting.
